St. Thomas the Apostle is an Episcopal Parish in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.  We are called by God to be a holy place where love is found, where all are named and where hearts are freed to change the world.

St. Thomas has a great respect for both the rich liturgical heritage of the church and for living the message of social justice proclaimed by Jesus Christ. Whether you are young or old, gay or straight, single, married or in a relationship, female or male, poor or wealthy, you are welcome at St. Thomas just as you are...a child of God and an inheritor of God's grace.

Fr. Davies' 50th Birthday Celebration

On Sunday, 2 March following the High Mass, we will be celebrating Fr. Davies' 50th birthday with a sit-down potluck lunch. Bring a dish (we have the ability to warm foods but not cook them at the church). There is no charge for the potluck. If you have questions or need suggestions, please contact Donald Cummings.
Ash Wednesday
On Wednesday, 5 March the Parish Church will offer three Masses with the Imposition of Ashes. Two Low Masses will take place at 8am and noon, and a High Mass will take place at 7:30pm. All are strongly encouraged to avail themselves of one of these major fasting day Masses.

Mo. Shireen Baker's
First Mass at St. Thomas

On Sunday, 8 March, former Parishioner and current Associate Rector at St. Clement's by-the-Sea, Mo. Shireen Baker, will be Celebrating and Preaching both the 8am and 10:30am Masses at St. Thomas the Apostle.
Lenten Study Course

Beginning  12 March, following the 7pm Mass on Wednesdays during Lent, the Lenten Series course will be offered. This year's Lenten Study will be following Love Songs & Reproaches: Passionate Conversations with God by William Countryman. A limited number of books will be available for sale in the office for $16 per book; one may also find this book on his own. Each week a Parishioner pre-selected by the Rector will lead in a theological, spiritual and literary discussion of several of Countryman's 100 poems. About the book: Countryman grapples with the reality of evil and loss, as well as hope for fulfillment of life. The author takes liberties with the scriptures in order to explore them with new seriousness and argues with both God and scripture freely in the process.
Evensong & Benediction

On Saturday, 22 March at 5pm Evensong & Benediction returns to St. Thomas the Apostle! LASchola will be accompanying the service. All are invited to attend.
