Greetings!

St. Thomas the Apostle is an Episcopal Parish in the Anglo-Catholic tradition.  We are called by God to be a holy place where love is found, where all are named and where hearts are freed to change the world.

St. Thomas has a great respect for both the rich liturgical heritage of the church and for living the message of social justice proclaimed by Jesus Christ. Whether you are young or old, gay or straight, single, married or in a relationship, female or male, poor or wealthy, you are welcome at St. Thomas just as you are...a child of God and an inheritor of God's grace.

Parish Hall Volunteers Needed

On Saturday, 23 March, the refinishing of the Parish Hall floors will be complete. It's time to decorate! If you can help hang pictures, curtains, clean dust from the windows, or move some furniture, please join us at 9:30am after the Breakfast Club. We will start in the Large Parish Hall before the noon AA meeting, and then move to the Small Parish Hall. Your help in making the Parish Halls look spiffy for Holy Week will be greatly appreciated!

On This Day in
Christian History

On this day in 1638, Religious dissident Anne Hutchinson was expelled from Massachusetts Bay Colony. Questioned about her teachings on grace, she insisted that she had received divine revelations. When her examiners asked how she knew these came from God, she replied, "How did Abraham know that it was God that bid him offer his son, being a breach of the Sixth Commandment?" Although Hutchinson repented of her "errors," her questioners decided she was lying and banished her from the colony.
