The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Population Affairs (OPA) oversees the Title X Family Planning program the only federal grant program dedicated solely to providing individuals with comprehensive family planning and related preventive health services.
OPA has developed a Zika Toolkit for healthcare providers that care for non-pregnant women and men of reproductive age and will hold a FREE webinar on Thursday, July 13 at 1 p.m. ET to provide an overview of this toolkit.

Zika Toolkit Webinar for Healthcare Providers
The U. S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Population Affairs (OPA) has developed a Zika Toolkit for healthcare providers that care for non-pregnant women and men of reproductive age.
OPA will hold a webinar on July 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. ET to introduce this toolkit to a broad audience of Title X and other providers of family planning services. You can get one credit of continuing nursing education credit by attending this webinar.

PrEP Education for Youth-Serving Primary Care Providers Toolkit | | PrEP Education for Youth-Serving Primary Care Providers Toolkit The PrEP Education for Youth-Serving Primary Care Providers Toolkit is the only toolkit to date focused on supporting PCPs in providing PrEP to youth. Acknowledging that many excellent resources about PrEP and HIV already exist, SIECUS compiled some of these quality resources and developed new tools to address particular PCP needs in order to create this comprehensive resource. Each section of the PrEP Education for Youth-Serving Primary Care Providers Toolkit has tools that PCPs can use in delivering PrEP care or in learning about particular aspects of PrEP delivery to youth at high risk of HIV acquisition. The Toolkit includes both original and existing tools and resources offering valuable information to assist youth-serving PCPs become better equipped at educating, counseling, and where appropriate, prescribing PrEP for young people. July Membership Call: Understanding Recent Administrative Guidance on Medicaid Family Planning
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has released several pieces of guidance impacting the provision of family planning services and supplies in Medicaid. In the last three months, CMS has finalized its Medicaid managed care regulation, clarified the "free choice of provider" protections, and issued additional sub-regulatory guidance on family planning through a State Health Officials letter.
During NFPRHA's membership call on Wednesday, July 27, at 2:00 p.m. ET, Robin Summers, NFPRHA's Vice President of Health Care Strategy & Analysis, will provide an overview of the recent administrative guidance and what it means for NFPRHA members.

The Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP) recently introduced a new Clinical Minute activity, Update on Emergency Contraception, which will help health professionals describe emergency contraception (EC) options, provide evidence-based information about the efficacy of EC, discuss the mechanism of action of emergency contraception pills, and counsel patients on the right option for them.
