National Girl Scout Cookie Day!

Happy National Girl Scout Cookie Day!

GSUSA has declared today, February 8, National Girl Scout Cookie Day to increase awareness of what the Girl Scout Cookie Program does for girls and their communities and to highlight the amazing fact that this is a $790-million business, the largest girl-led business in the world!

Ensure that girls are "packaged" with the most important message when selling to their family, friends and customers -- that they are learning five essential life skills: goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills and business ethics!

One More Box to support a girl's goals.

She's counting on you!

#onemorebox

This year, as part of National Girl Scout Cookie Day and in honor of their success in running the largest girl-led business enterprise in the world, girls will ask customers to step up for an opportunity to buy One More Box.

Customers want to help girls reach their goals!

This national social media campaign will make it easier for your girls to be successful. Customers will be ready and eager to help -- more than ever before. The time has never been better to encourage girls to reach for high goals.

Maybe girls will ask each customer to buy One More Box for a donation program. Maybe they will host one more booth sale. Maybe they will make one more phone call. Maybe they will try one more selling tip. Check out the fun and effective ideas on this blogAnd help spread the word by pledging your support at www.facebook.com/Samoas-Cookies.

Look for GSUSA's one-day-only Facebook contest today and share on TwitterPinterest, and Instagram why you'd recommend buying #onemorebox.

Birdies for Charity In 2013, GSSWT is poised to succeed with its partnership with Birdies for Charity® through the annual Valero Texas Open and your help is needed to spread the word! What's a birdie, you ask?! It's a score of one stroke under par (the expected score) for any hole on the golf course.

Birdies for Charity is a fundraising program designed to give participating organizations the opportunity to generate contributions through the Valero Texas Open, scheduled for April 1-7. All donations and pledges are tax deductible and GSSWT will receive 100 percent of the dollars raised through Birdies for Charity!
