Buying New Backpacks For Your Kids This Fall?
Don't throw out the old ones if they still might have some life left in them-donate them to Mama Hill's Help, for a kid who has nothing at all. If you felt able to add some back-to-school supplies like paper, pencils, pens, colored pens etc. that would be even more appreciated. Thank you.
Next Sunday-Omelette Bar!
Charlie and Victoria will be running their annual omelette bar after each service-outside the big church! Yummy!
What Goes in the Blue Bin?
If you can bag your donations and tag them that would be really helpful for the volunteers.

For St Luke's Shower Program - a program for adults. What we need all the time is underwear, underwear, underwear- for men & women. Basics of any kind/color - larger sizes more useful. Not dressy clothes, or kids' stuff please.

Art and Wine-Save the Date!
Saturday, October 8 from 6:00-9:00pm
Back by popular demand! Put the date on the calendar and invite a friend or three. The more the merrier! There will be delicious food, festive music, art, wine, beer, plenty of non-alcoholic drinks, and fellowship. This is a fundraiser for St. Francis. Besides bringing guests, let us know if you would like to help in anyway. We could always use fun and exciting silent auction items. This year we will also be having a mystery wine grab. We could use lots of donated wine (or money to buy), bottles from $10 and up. For questions or to help, please email Jennifer and Alex Sams or call 310-375-2962.
