What's Happening!
Instant Choir
Our choir is on summer schedule, which means there are no mid-week rehearsals. We meet at 9:00am on Sunday mornings to learn the music for the day, and we would love to have anyone join us! We will help you figure out what you need to know. We will continue this schedule through July 31. So, meet us in the church at 9:00am any Sunday through July. You'll have fun, and we will gratefully welcome you. Contact Jeannie Cobb with questions.
Welcome!
Our new parishioners, Sue and Jack Ferme, were received into the Episcopal Church at St Cross Church, Hermosa Beach, Sunday, June 26.  Bishop Diane Bruce presided over this joyous event with two other parishes bringing parishioners to be confirmed, received or to reaffirm their baptismal vows with Bishop Diane. Welcome Sue and Jack!

Jazz Concert
Jim Fox - Bob Bain Jazz Guitar Duo with Paul Gormley on bass
Saturday, July 16 at 7:00pm
St Francis is honored to have these international jazz stars to play at our campus!

Among the many "A List" artists on whose recordings you've heard Jim Fox play are Rod Stewart, Barry Manilow, and Bette Midler. For 20 years, until Frank Sinatra, Jr. passed away, Jim was his guitarist. He is currently the "west coast" guitarist for Michael Feinstein. Jim has also performed at the White House for 6 U.S. Presidents.

Simply put, Bob Bain played on just about every hit Johnny Mandel has ever written. He was also Henry Mancini's guitarist of choice. Bob had a regular gig that lasted 20 years as the guitarist in Doc Severinsen's "Tonight Show" Band. And that guitar you hear at the beginning of every episode of the television show M*A*S*H - that's Bob too!
Many thanks to Steve Kinigstein, and all those who help preparing for and setting up events for the energy and love which brings this very special musical Ministry to St Francis.
