Godspell - thank you!
A GINORMOUS THANK YOU to all who gave time, talent, support, and prayer that added to the success of Godspell.
Our teens worked so hard, and it all came to a beautiful culmination! Our church family is blessed to have such a spirit of support and cooperation. Thank you!

More Thank yous!
This Sunday is 'Thank You' Sunday
This means you.....!
Read this special message to you all from
Mo. Paula and Rev. Peter.
Be at worship on Sunday if you can, to hear and be thankful in person.
What an amazing parish we are!
Coming Up!

Next Sunday - Class for Preparing Children for Eucharist
Sunday, June 12, 2016 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Library
Have you been wanting your children to experience receiving communion with you? Rev. Peter will lead a class to prepare your children to receive this sacrament. Bring your questions (and your children!) and come find out more about the Eucharist, the center of our worship together. Families whose children are already receiving communion and who want a "refresher" class are welcome to attend as well!
Please email Rev. Peter or Kate Buchen to let them know if you will be attending.

Jazz Vespers
Sunday June 12th - 4pm.
Take some time out to bring peace to your Sunday evening with some jazz for balmy June evenings!

A Chorus Line-Hollywood bowl
Saturday, July 30 at 8 p.m.
What do dancers, singers, parishioners, picnics, and Hollywood all have in common? It's "Chorus Line" at the Hollywood Bowl. Join Mother Paula for a night of fun seeing her favorite musical under the stars.
To see what the interest is, please email me if you are interested in seeing the show so that group tickets can be arranged. At the time of writing, there are seats available together for $41 in the N1 section of the bowl, and less expensive tickets farther back.
Park and Ride from Wilson Park for $7 per person round trip (in advance) or $12 per person at the lot. You can take your own food to picnic or there are many restaurant venues at the bowl.
Please let me know by Wednesday, June 22. Email Cheryl Gutierrez or call (310) 791-7038.

Adult Confirmation - June 26, 3pm
Do you want to know more about the Episcopal church, history and faith? Have you been "confirmed as a Catholic or Lutheran" and want to become an "official" Episcopalian? If you have already been confirmed then you can simply be "received" into the Episcopal Church by the Bishop. Or do you want to "refresh" and renew your baptismal vows? Mo. Paula would like to meet with any adults who would like to receive this sacrament or learn more or update their faith. There will be 2 sessions; dates TBD by group. Bishop Diane will be presiding at Eucharist and this sacrament on June 26 at 3pm at St. Cross. There will be a special teen preparation offered in 2017.  Please contact Mo. Paula through the church office, her email, or see her in person after coffee hour, etc.
