Save a Life! CPR and AED Class
Only $20 per student
This Sunday, April 24th from 12:00 to 3:00pm in the Parish Hall.  
Sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women (ECW).
Thanks to the success of the Antiques Show, we are able to offer this class for $20.00 per student instead of the listed $40.00 This includes a book and certification card.
Your check serves as your sign-up. Please make checks out to "Continuing Education Unlimited", and give them to Mary in the office. A light lunch will be available.

Career Transition Workshop - Free Workshop 
This Wednesday April 27, 7:00pm-9:00pm
Transitions in one's career, whether pursuing a new direction, returning to work, starting a new business, or even retiring, can often involve significant change, reflection and planning.  Mike Schoettle, professor and executive coach at Loyola Marymount University's Executive MBA program, is offering this free workshop to help parishioners better understand how to consider and navigate through career transitions. Whether this is your first workshop or if you've attended the previous workshop, you are welcome to attend! Advance registration is required.

Mo. Paula would like to meet with any adults who would like to receive this sacrament, or learn more. There will be 2 sessions of preparation, dates TBD. There will be a special teen preparation offered in 2017.

St. Francis Online Academy - free, expert Christian Education
Next Sunday, May 1 - Library After Both Services
Come and learn about how to take a wonderful selection of Christian Education classes through ChurchNext, an Episcopal online learning resource. Video classes can be taken individually at home at your own pace or together with other parishioners. These classes are free and led by leaders of our church, such as our Presiding Bishop Michael Curry, Stephanie Spellers, and Bishop Mary Gray-Reeves. Rev. Peter will walk through the process of signing up and demonstrate how to be a part of this learning process.

Godspell!

Saturday, May 21 at 7:00pm and Sunday, May 22 at 4:00pm
Note time change of Sunday performance - 4:00pm, not 3:00pm.
The youth of St Francis will present a fully staged performance of the musical Godspell. Tickets will be $5 and will go on sale later this month. Be sure to save the dates and think about who you'd like to bring to share this joyful experience.

Episcopal Night With The Dodgers
Friday 2 September, 7:10pm
Our "boys in blue" go against the San Diego Padres, followed by fireworks.  Gates open at 5:10 with parking opening at 4:40.  More details to follow.  Scott Crowell is this year's liaison for the event.
