What's Happening!
Palm Sunday is This Sunday
One Service Only - 10am
Click here for full details of Holy Week Services The Sunday before Easter is the last Sunday in Lent. The day commemorates Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem with a blessing of palms and a procession in which the whole congregation carries palms. The day is marked by the narrative reading of the story of Jesus' passion (the word used to describe Jesus' death comes from "suffering," which is a definition for passion).
And the Installation of Mo. Paula as the 5th Rector of St Francis!

Donations for Easter
Flowers and Music
At our Easter we share our joy and celebration by way of extra-special music and decorations of our chapel and church.
These extraordinary offerings require resources above and beyond our allotted funds, and so we invite those who would like to be part of this festive glory to download and complete either or both of the forms here, and place them in the collection plate, or return them to the church office.Thank you!
Donations of Easter Eggs for Easter Day Hunt
If you would like to contribute filled eggs (with wrapped candy or a non-edible treat), please drop off this week in the office.
There are two baskets to collect the donations. Thanks so much!

Location of the Easter Egg Hunt
We will hold the event on the playground for all ages. We will let the little ones (toddlers to age 4) in first with a parent to begin hunting for a few minutes. Then the older children (ages 5 and up) will get their turn. Please discuss with your children, as appropriate, what to expect so we can all enjoy the morning together!
Look for the signs to lead the way!
A Huge Thank you!

Designs for Dining
Our wonderful St Francis Scholarship Outreach students thank each and every one of you!
New!! Donation Bin for Outreach.
The collection bins in the Board Room are going away.
A blue bin is now in the lower parking lot for our donations for both St Luke's and Mama Hill's Help. You can park right next to the bin, making it easy for you, and for those who collect and distribute the donations. If you wish items to go specifically to one cause, please label the bag with your donation. Otherwise, items will go to whichever organization is the most appropriate. If you have a really large item that you cannot place in the bin, please leave it in the Board Room - and make sure to let Sue Egan know. Questions? Contact our Outreach Shepherd Sue Egan. And thank you to John Henebry for organizing!

A Hidden Wholeness:
The Journey Toward An Undivided Life
by Parker Palmer
Tuesday nights beginning again March 29

The Tuesday night Nurture group is continuing its life together by reflecting on the book Hidden Wholeness by Parker Palmer.
"The soul is generous...the soul is wise...the soul is hopeful..and the soul is creative. All we need to do is bring down the wall that separates us from our own souls and deprives the world of the soul's regenerative powers." - Parker Palmer

Facilitated by Alison Houghton-Kral. We share a simple supper, reflect and pray together. Parker Palmer, founder and Senior Partner of the Center for Courage and Renewal, is a world-renowned writer, speaker and activist who focuses on issues in education, community, leadership, spirituality and social change. We will be using his book as a springboard for examining and deepening our spiritual lives. There will be time for reflection and prayerful practice. If you are interested, or even a little curious please do not hesitate to get in contact. People are most welcome to join at any time.
Contact: Email Alison, or call her on 310-218-8431.
