Great News! - Clergy Update
Dear St Francis Parishioners,
It may be hard to believe, but it's already been almost one year since Mother Paula was named Priest In Charge (PIC) of St. Francis Church. We have been in a period of discernment and have discussed the subject of Mother Paula possibly becoming our permanent Rector in many different forums, as well as at every Vestry meeting. I thank you all again for the thoughtful feedback and participation in this important process.

I am pleased to announce that we have set a date for a final Mutual Ministry Review meeting on January 9th, 2016. On that day, the Vestry will be joined by the Reverend Joanna Satorius, the Canon for Formation and Transition Ministry, and we will make our final decision. I don't think you'll be surprised to learn that barring any surprises we plan to call Mother Paula to be our Rector! As always, feel free to contact anyone on the Vestry with any questions. With Best Wishes for the New Year!

Rest eternal grant to her, O Lord: And let light perpetual shine upon her. May her soul, and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
More Great News-Please Welcome Our New Organist!

She has additional degrees from Westminster Choir College, Cleveland Institute for Music, the International Organ Academy in Harrlem, the Netherlands, and Yonsie University in Seoul, Korea. Car Needed
One of our parishioners no longer has a car. The mechanic said he could not do one more thing to make the car run. But our parishioner lives from paycheck to paycheck and does not have anything extra in order to get another. Can we help? Is there someone who was planning on donating their car to charity? We could use it. If not, what about if several of us made a cash donation toward a down payment on a used car?
Please let Mo. Paula+ know if you can help in any way.
