Sunday, May 31 - Strong bodies are again needed to bring our grounds back to normal - Lunch provided
This Sunday 10 am Communion Service...
through the eyes of a child!
This Sunday, May 31 there is no Sunday School, and instead we will have a special opportunity at the 10:00 service to learn about why we do what we do in our service. As seen through a child's eyes, we will learn from this "Instructed Eucharist."
Insights will be shared that will fascinate children and adults alike. Bring your friends who have questions about the Episcopal tradition.
Be sure to sit near the front so children can see and hear what is going on. Jesus welcomed the little children - and so do we!

Note for Sunday School families-please arrive early at church at 9:30am to practice with the choir.

Next Sunday, June 7th
Baccalaureate BBQ
Please join our graduates in celebrating their big accomplishment, immediately following the 10 am service. Please participate as you can by bring a side dish, a salad or a dessert to serve 10 or more. Hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and all the fixings will be provided. Congratulations to our leaders of tomorrow!

Jesus saves us, gives us faith, courage, and wisdom to serve Him and share His Good News with our neighbor! God does have a plan and a purpose for each of His beloved children! The course covers Christian tradition and history, biblical exegesis and interpretation, theology, ethics, worship, spirituality, and interfaith issues. The material is also studied in the light of your real-life experiences. Our theme for 2015-2016 will be "Living as Spiritually Mature Christians". For more information click here...

Clergy Transition Process

The St. Francis Vestry is very pleased to announce that Bishop Bruno has named Mother Paula as our Priest in Charge Under Special Circumstances (PIC-USC) effective April 1st! This decision initiates a formal mutual discernment period of 12 months to call Mother Paula as our Rector. As always, feel free to contact our Senior Warden Fabrizio, or any Vestry member if you have any questions regarding the Rector transition process. Any Vestry member can be contacted via the church office at 310-375-4617. You can also email Fabrizio directly.
