Lenten Supper Series
Wednesdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25
A Season of Transition

6pm dinner - $5 per person. Program - 7pm,
Compline - 8:15pm.

An in-house series, grounded in scripture, and related to our transition and discernment as a parish.
Schedule:
  • Presentation on scripture reading
  • Small group discussions: How does the reading impact my faith?
  • How does that discernment relate to our parish?

A beginning step for the gathering of parishioner input -

  • not just for the clergy leadership choice that lies ahead
  • but also - and vitally - for the practical and spiritual decisions about who we wish to be as God's people in this parish moving into the future.

The themes:

Mar 4 Beginning the journey/ Pilgrimage

11 Where we have come from

18 Where we are now

25 Where we are going/ Discerning God's will in our midst

We look forward to listening to one another's thoughts as the Spirit leads us in this coming year.

A Thank You Note From Mo. Sarah And Family

Mike, Sam, and I want to thank you for the beautiful farewell celebration you organized on our last Sunday with you. The theme and décor were so fun! And you made such good food! And you said (and wrote) such kind words! And you were so generous in your parting gifts to us! Truly, you helped us land here with much more of a "cushion" than we might have had otherwise, and we are very grateful.
Even as we settle in and start to feel at home here, we are missing you. Yet each day has brought some new experience that reaffirms our decision to be closer to family, and to allow me to be home more with Sam.
I am grateful for the chance to stay connected to what's happening with you through the parish news (and Paula, of course.) God bless you and keep you, until we meet again... Mo. Sarah, Mike, and Sam Phelps
