Lenten Supper Series
Wednesdays, March 4, 11, 18, 25 A Season of Transition 6pm dinner - $5 per person. Program - 7pm, Compline - 8:15pm. An in-house series, grounded in scripture, and related to our transition and discernment as a parish. Schedule:
- Presentation on scripture reading
- Small group discussions: How does the reading impact my faith?
- How does that discernment relate to our parish?
- Sharing with whole group, and eventually with Parish Profile Committee.
A beginning step for the gathering of parishioner input -
- not just for the clergy leadership choice that lies ahead
- but also - and vitally - for the practical and spiritual decisions about who we wish to be as God's people in this parish moving into the future.
The themes:
Mar 4 Beginning the journey/ Pilgrimage
11 Where we have come from
18 Where we are now
25 Where we are going/ Discerning God's will in our midst
We look forward to listening to one another's thoughts as the Spirit leads us in this coming year.
