Thank you!
Thank you to everyone who made the St. Francis Art and Wine Night such a success. We couldn't have done it without you. We so appreciate everyone who bought a ticket and brought a friend, donated a silent auction item, bid on items, created art to sell, poured wine, set up and cleaned up, served food, ran errands, helped with check in and check out, and everything in between. So many people have come to us and told us how much fun they had and what a great welcoming vibe our church has. One of the wineries mentioned how they could feel we were all a family. We truly are all a part of a wonderful family here at St. Francis. Thanks again for being a part of this event. Hank and Suzanne Gatlin, John and Holly Henebry, and Alex and Jennifer Sams.

National Acolyte Festival!
|
Sunday October 26th - 08:45 - 09:30
We will be holding Acolyte Training for prospective acolytes and Acolyte Refresher Training for our seasoned acolyte veterans on Sunday, October 26th, from 08:45 to 09:30AM. Meet under the arches at 08:40AM for our traditional doughnuts and juice! Also, at this stage, it is just an idea, but would any acolytes possibly be interested in taking part in the National Acolyte Festival in October 2015 at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC? We would love to take a group next year, if possible. This year acolytes from 100 parishes from across the US took part and the Presiding Bishop preached! For all acolyte questions, please contact Hank Gatlin.

Need a prayer, or to talk with the clergy?
or via the church office on 310-375 4617.
You are not interrupting our work -
you ARE our work!
Or just come to any or all of our services, and take a moment to sit quietly, light a candle in memory, or to symbolize your feeling, and let God be God - in you - for a few small, still moments. With blessings and prayers for comfort and love.
