Traffic Delays Palos Verdes Blvd Closures
Sunday, Sep. 21, 7am-10am
Due to a triathlon in the city of Torrance, Palos Verdes Blvd. will experience closures on Sunday, September 21, 2014 from approximately 7am-10am. The closures will be for both north and southbound traffic starting at Calle Miramar. During the closures, there will be no access to Palos Verdes Estates or Pacific Coast Highway beyond that point. Paseo De La Playa and Calle Mayor will be closed during the event. Please plan alternate routes.
Consider the following options for exiting/entering the City of Palos Verdes Estates:
* Palos Verdes Drive North to Hawthorne Blvd.
* Palos Verdes Drive North to Via Valmonte to Hawthorne Blvd.
* Palos Verdes Drive West to Hawthorne Blvd.
* Granvia Altamira to Hawthorne Blvd.
The Palos Verdes Estates Police Department will have additional staff on duty to help facilitate the movement of traffic during the closures.
