The Walk was amazing. Very moving (lots of survivors, and lots of people walking in memory of loved ones), but also hugely fun. My team raised over $12K and all the walkers together raised $4.5 million.

For The Homeless

We support St. Luke's shower program for the needy in Long Beach.
You can help by: * giving donations * helping prepare and serve breakfast * helping 'behind the scenes' (eg. with the clothing closet).

Embracing a Life of Meaning

Mo. Sarah will lead 5 small group sessions using a DVD-and-discussion-based curriculum called "Embracing a Life of Meaning." The DVD features Kathleen Norris, an award-winning poet, writer and author of four New York Times bestsellers including Dakota, The Cloister Walk and Amazing Grace. Her writing has been described as "intimate and historical, rich in poetry and meditations, brimming with exasperation and reverence, deeply grounded in both nature and spirit, sometimes funny and often provocative."
