Celebrate!  Sam became an official and FOREVER part of the Phelps Family this last Monday, so join us this Sunday for a reception hosted by the Phelps' family, and Mo. Paula (Sam's godmother) in celebration of Sam Phelps' adoption!
Come eat your way through 16 feet of burrito, enjoy a slice of cake, and let us thank you for all of your love and support along the way!
Summer breakfast also - last one for the summer - following 8am worship.

New Sunday School Year
Sunday school re-starts this Sunday, August 31st.
Registration forms for 2014/15 are on our website under Families and Kids. Nursery care available in the library for children aged 3 and under. For more information, please contact Kate Buchen, Minister for Children and Families.

Rummage Sale Thanks
A big shout out to all who helped with the rummage sale. We were happy to have more men involved this year. Thanks so much to each of you, we made $10,000!! All proceeds support projects to maintain and beautify our church buildings and grounds. It's finally over. Amen, Gloria and Ruth!

Mo. Sarah Avon Walk for Breast Cancer - Thank You to All!  Your generosity means I have met my fundraising goal for participating in the 39.3 mile Avon walk on Sep. 6 & 7. There's still time to donate right up until I do the walk, and all donations are welcome because the money raised all goes for breast cancer research and services

Altar Guild Salad and Dessert Meeting
Wed. September 3 at 6 p.m. The Altar Guild welcomes everyone to our first meeting after our summer break. Members will bring a salad or dessert and a beverage to share. This is a good opportunity for any Church member who might be interested in this ministry to join us on the 3rd, we look forward to having you join our guild. Our meeting will follow at 7. Choir Begins Again!
This is the week for the St Francis Choir to come back together to share fellowship and learn songs and anthems to lead God's people in worship. WHO WOULD LIKE TO JOIN US?
