Forgiving & Forgiveness: Psychological and Theological Aspects of Reconciliation

April 2nd

Led by The Very Reverend John Crean, Ph.D.

& The Reverend Charleen Crean, LCSW.

Our Lenten study series continues to help you address problems associated with holding on to resentments, injury and guilt. It will suggest some possible scriptural models for forgiveness, and culminate with a liturgy. Together, we will continue to explore the psychological and theological aspects of reconciliation.

Communal Rite of Reconciliation

Our Lenten Supper Series concludes with a Communal Rite of Reconciliation in the Chapel, so that we may all share in the gift of God's healing forgiveness.
Lenten Quiet Day
Letting it Go, and Letting Yourself Be
Friday, April 11 from 9:30am - 12:00pm
Lenten Quiet Day is a time of reflection and potentially revelation. This is an annual ECW-sponsored event and is open to the whole parish (and friends).

There will be two periods of inspiration, reflection and discussion led by Holly Henebry and Tina van der Velden, and facilitated by Mo. Paula. Quiet Day will take place in the Church Boardroom. It is also BYOL (Bring Your Own Lunch) if you wish to spend a little more time in peace and fellowship before heading off to your afternoon.

Please RSVP on the Lenten quiet day clip board in the church office or by calling or emailing the office - 310 375-4617.

Need a prayer, or to talk with the clergy?

Contact Mo. Sarah or Mo. Paula
or via the church office on 310-375 4617.

You are not interrupting our work -

you ARE our work!

Or just come to any or all of our services, and take a moment to sit quietly, light a candle in memory, or to symbolize your feeling, and let God be God - in you - for a few small, still moments. With blessings and prayers for comfort and love.
