Lenten Supper Series

Forgiving & Forgiveness: Psychological and Theological Aspects of Reconciliation

March 12th, 19th, 26th, April 2nd, 9th

Led by The Very Reverend John Crean, Ph.D.

& The Reverend Charleen Crean, LCSW.

This five-session Lenten study series will help you address problems associated with holding on to resentments, injury and guilt. It will suggest some possible scriptural models for forgiveness, and culminate with a liturgy. Together, we will explore the psychological and theological aspects of reconciliation.

For full details of this series click here...

Sign-up now - sign-up sheets in the church office, and after worship on Sundays.

The Parish Reads
Forgiven and and Forgiving
by L. William Countryman.
"Only the strong can forgive. God, who is strongest, forgives best."

This book complements our Lenten Supper Series.
Once we truly understand the depths of God's love for us and know deep-down that we are forgiven, we begin to see the world anew through God's eyes. Only when we are able to accept God's forgiveness for ourselves can we offer forgiveness to others.

Our Handbells Need Repair
Many of our beautiful handbells are currently not working, and we need to have them repaired. If you would like to contribute to these special instruments, and the sound they lend to our services, it would be much appreciated. Donations will be most gratefully accepted by Elaine Mistele in the church office - either cash clearly marked for the handbells, or make checks payable to St Francis Church, with 'Music' in the memo line.
Questions? contact Jeannie Cobb.
Thank you!
