What's Happening...

News from Mo. Sarah
Court proceedings regarding the future care of Mo. Sarah and husband Mike's fost-adopt son, Sam, have passed an important milestone. The birth parents' rights have been terminated, and Sam's formal adoption proceedings may now begin. Mo. Sarah reports prayers answered for a grace-filled experience in the courtroom, and amicable dealings with Sam's birth family. Obviously Sarah and Mike are overflowing with relief and gratitude , and give thanks to God for carrying it all with them and for them.
With love to all of you also, for walking the way with us. Mo. Sarah

Information Meeting this Sunday
St. Francis Antique Show

11:30am after worship service - all invited

Come find out more about this year's show - we are meeting in the Board Room to plan the event and assign opportunities.

The 2013 Show allowed the ECW to contribute to the Parish over $18,000.00 from the nearly $25,000.00 earned, The remaining $7,000.00 went to outreach projects outside of the Parish. In order to be able to repeat or increase that number - we need your time, energy and talents! We especially need luncheon coordinators, construction leaders and linen caretakers.

the 2014 st. francis antique show and gala -

may 28, 29, 30 and 31.

Volunteers (all ages) needed to assist with the children's nursery during the 10am service

Maybe you miss your grandkids??

or you're college-bound and looking for service opportunities?

or just love being with little ones and babies??  We are short of assistance for Brooke in the library by the parish hall during the 10am service on Sundays.  Brooke could use extra arms to hold and help!  Maybe you could volunteer once a month or every other month?  Please email or call Mary Sanchez, our office manager, if you are available to help out, 310 375 4617.
