Kris Kringle Thank You!
A special thank you for the spectacular efforts that made the Kris Kringle Holiday Faire such a warm, wonderful event for so many. One of our parishioners said,

"My cheeks hurt because I was smiling for three hours, seeing all the joy on everyone's faces, especially the kids!"

Suzanne Gatlin had the original vision and with Hank Gatlin, Holly Henebry and John Henebry leading the way, our parish came together with an amazing spirit of time, talent and treasures, all of rooted in love and joy. Gratitude to all who gave so much of themselves to make this event a blessing for all who came and all who participated, successfully combining fun, fellowship and fundraising!!!
Advent Taizé
Tuesday, December 17th, 7pm

A million candles, gentle prayers, and simple song chants in a service lasting around 40 minutes. No Holy Communion. Free childcare provided.

You may sing or just sit in quiet contemplation.

The perfect antidote to the stress of the season. Followed by a wine and cheese reception.
Flourish in Faith
Please Return Your Pledge Card as soon as possible...
All active households in our parish should have received a mailing from our "Flourish In Faith" campaign, including an invitation to pledge of our time, talents and treasure to our ministry in 2014. If you have not received it, you may request a copy here .
Our Vestry, Ministry Council and Clergy leaders were challenged to invest in our parish by increasing our financial pledges by at least 10% this year.

Our leaders responded by pledging a collective total of $84,477, or 22% more than 2013. Thank you to these very generous and dedicated parish leaders! If you would join them in this movement of generosity, kindly return your pledge cards to St. Francis as soon as possible. This helps us in our financial planning for the coming year. Thank you very much.
