Pentecost - Birthday of the Church
Celebrate the out-pouring out of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles in the Upper Room. From the early days of Western Christianity, Pentecost has also become one of the days set aside to celebrate Holy Baptism, so be with us as we welcome 2 new members of our Church!

St. Luke's Breakfast Ministry
This Saturday May 18th From 7am. We support St. Luke's shower program for the needy in Long Beach, CA. A couple of new ways you can help: folding and sorting clothing donations, and monitoring the women's showers by signing people in and then calling their name when their allotted time comes. Jonathan Zimmerman (son of Susie and Albert) is currently on military deployment in Djibouti, where the base is working with a local orphanage.
So, people of Saint Francis, please look in your closets and ask your friends if they can donate items to help these kids live better lives today, and with hope for tomorrow.

Gala night: Wednesday, May 29th
Show and Sale: Thursday, May 30th - Saturday, June 1st. Our proceeds go to outreach and a large portion to Parish needs. - Help out on show days and at the gala - just a few slots remaining.
- Bake for the Harvest cupboard
- Help with publicity - yard signs, posters, discount coupons all available from the church office.
- Help with 'hatting' the pickle jars!
- Donate silent auction items

Save the Date! Choir Sings Gilbert and Sullivan
Sunday, June 23 right after church, our choir will be presenting highlights from Gilbert & Sullivan operettas. Includes lunch. Fund raiser to support future musical projects.
