A Million Thanks...

Wednesday, November 13

3:00 - 4:30 p.m.

Join with your neighbors at the Library and have some fun expressing your personal appreciation for members of America's military by composing holiday cards and letters that will be sent to our troops.  Library Page and National Honor Society member Amber Mason will provide you with craft materials you may need. This festive event is open to grateful citizens of all ages.

Introducing Our New
OVERSIZE
Book Section

Instead of sticking out like sore thumbs throughout the adult nonfiction collection, our too-wide, too-tall, too-large books now have shelves of their own to comfortably accommodate their size.  Find them beyond the 900s of the Dewey Decimal section (across the aisle from the newspaper and magazine back issues) when you spot the "OS" call number in your catalog search.

Donate Your Labels

Please help our Youth Services Dept. acquire educational toys and equipment through the Labels For Education program. Before you toss your cans, cartons and bottle tops, please look for the program logo on the item and drop the labels and caps in our bin (pictured) next to Miss Alison's desk. Participating companies include Glad, Swanson, Pop Secret, Bic, V8, Post, Pepperidge Farm, Prego, and, of course, Campbell's Soup.
