Children from lower income backgrounds work on their reading skills at Covenant's Freedom School site at Highland, our CMS partner school. Here are three things you can do:
Chaperone a field trip/activity: Shepherd youngsters as they explore spots like Ray's Splash Planet and Discovery Place. You'll meet us at these sites.
Shop for supplies: Receive a shopping list of items available at any grocery or big-box store. You'll deliver these supplies to Highland.
DEAR - Drop Everything and Read: Be a reading buddy during this ambitious city-wide initiative on Wednesday, July 19 from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. We need a buddy for every scholar!
