Be a volunteer: Freedom School is underway
Now to July 27 at Highland
Children from lower income backgrounds work on their reading skills at Covenant's Freedom School site at Highland, our CMS partner school. Here are three things you can do:
  • Chaperone a field trip/activity: Shepherd youngsters as they explore spots like Ray's Splash Planet and Discovery Place. You'll meet us at these sites.
  • Shop for supplies: Receive a shopping list of items available at any grocery or big-box store. You'll deliver these supplies to Highland.
  • DEAR - Drop Everything and Read: Be a reading buddy during this ambitious city-wide initiative on Wednesday, July 19 from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. We need a buddy for every scholar!
