Faith, civics, storytelling converge at Covenant
On the menu tonight is roasted chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, cookies and ice cream. Dinner is 5 to 6:30 p.m. for $7 (adults) and $5 (kids) with a $25 max. Programs at 6:30 include:
- Charlotte's Wake-Up Call - A Community Dialogue: For our finale, faith and civic leaders will share ways to stay engaged. Details here.

- Telling the Story of Your Life - The Power of Personal Narrative: Storyteller Donna Marie Todd, a TEDx speaker and editor of "The Biblical Storyteller" magazine, speaks on harnessing our personal story to survive difficult events. Donna Marie is founder of AWidowsTale.com. Details here.

A farewell celebration for Perry Dixon
Sunday at 6 p.m. in EW307
Drop by to celebrate Perry Dixon's service to Covenant as our director of high school youth. Perry has accepted a position at his home church, Highland Baptist Church in Louisville, KY, as an Associate Minister. His last day at Covenant is next Wednesday. Beforehand, youth will gather as normal for 5:30 p.m. dinner.

Provide brunch items for teachers at Highland
Saying 'thank you' on Monday, Feb. 20
You can contribute food, drinks, flowers and notes for a monthly teacher appreciation brunch at our CMS partner school. Click here to pitch in through SignUp Genius.
- Drop off your contribution in the Fellowship Hall in the designated bin near the kitchen at any time until 7 p.m. the Sunday before the brunch.
- One or two volunteers are also needed to deliver the goodies to the school on Monday mornings.

Classes will explore joys, challenges of caregiving
- Care for Your Aging Parents: As we age with our parents, our relationships with them begin to change. Prepare for challenges such as finances, health decisions, living arrangements and more. When: Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for three weeks beginning March 5.

Being a Caregiver to a Spouse: Connect with peers and learn helpful ways to take care of  yourself. Upon request, a member of our volunteer team can sit with your spouse while you attend the group. When: Thursdays at 11 a.m. for five weeks beginning March 2.
