Lessons & Carols will showcase all Covenant choirs
Sunday, 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., Sanctuary
Covenant's Annual Festival of Lessons and Carols brings together the entire family of children, youth and adult vocal and handbell choirs, accompanied by organ, piano, clarinet, flute and cello.
The first worship service is held in the Sanctuary at 11 a.m. and is led by the Covenant Choir, Covenant Ringers and the Angelus and Chorister Children's Choirs.
A second Lessons and Carols service will take place at 5 p.m. led by the Covenant Choir, a newly formed Covenant Bell Ensemble and the Youth Chorale and Youth Bell Choir. Full preview here.

Our offering in Sunday's 5 p.m. service will support the life-changing programs at Crisis, where individuals and families get help with basic needs as they work toward self-sufficiency.

Text to give: A new way to contribute
Get started with a few simple steps
Simply text the word "Fund" to 704-312-7616, Covenant's text giving phone number. You will receive a message with a list of available fund names.
You can designate your gift to a specific fund by texting the amount + fund name (example: $50 2017 Pledge).
First time donors are prompted to visit a secure URL to register and provide credit/debit card information. Once completed, you'll receive a confirmation text. The current app is for donations only (not payments for meals, programs, etc.). For questions, contact Virginia Rumbley in the church office.

Join the team for Room in the Inn
Needed: Dinner hosts, bus drivers, overnight hosts
Covenant hosts guests from Room in the Inn during January, February and March. Help us fill the following roles. Contact Evan Amo to get connected.
- Host dinner in January and March
- Provide dinner in February
- Drive the bus Tuesday evening (5:15 p.m.) or Wednesday morning (6 a.m.)
- Spend the night with our guests (out by 6:15 a.m. on Wednesday)
- Make bag lunches for January and February

After-school care provider
Hourly position at Epiphany School
The Epiphany School of Charlotte is hiring for a dedicated after school care provider Mondays to Thursdays from 3 to 5 p.m. We offer a relaxed environment where the students are free to socialize, play games or share in their common interests. No tutoring required. This position is hourly, based on student attendance. Average is 2 to 5 students, daily. Experience with Autism/Asperger's special needs desired. Pay is $15 per hour.
