Hard Questions, Healing Conversations: A speaker series on how to communicate more effectively on tough topics. Our first speaker is Margaret Barnes Peery, MDiv. Come every week or drop in for the topic that matches your interest. 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall 207 A&B. Details here.

Twitty Lecture, Fall Convocation
Musician Jimmy Greene will share how his faith and love for music helped him endure following the loss of his 6-year-old daughter, Ana Marquez-Greene. He'll play with the worship band in 11 a.m. contemporary worship. Details here.

Presbyterian Women (PW) to hold fall dinner
Monday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m.  in Fellowship Hall
Our speaker is Fielding Williams, a former teacher and advocate for literacy who founded The Scone Shop, a business that sells frozen, ready-to-bake scones. Punch/appetizers at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30. Contact Martha Isaacs to sign up.
TLC group will tour Goodwill and Classroom Central
Wednesday, Sept. 21, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Join Covenant's active adults group to visit the new Goodwill campus for lunch and a tour. We'll also make a visit to Classroom Central. Contact Mary Mattiacci to sign up.
Register for youth basketball season basketball
Covenant hosts a league for ages 5-18 led by Playbook for Life Ministries. Practices begin the first week of November. Games start Dec. 3. 
Golfers, join us for a day at Revolution Park
Golfers of all ages are invited for a friendly, nine-hole competition on Saturday, Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m. Registration is now open. Forms are available in the Rec Wing. Details, contact James Huffman, recreation director.

Seeking formula and diapers Mom and baby
Support children in Reynosa, Mexico
Support Bettye Clinic and its work with children living in poverty. Through Sept. 20, bring baby formula and diapers (all sizes) to the Rec Wing or Carla Leaf's office.
Director of middle school youth ministries
Covenant is hiring for a full-time director to oversee education and programming for youth in grades six through eight. The director will work closely with our children and high school ministries and serve with energy, imagination, intelligence and love. Details here.
