Senior's message to fellow graduates: Take Covenant with you

Harrison Ferone spoke to fellow graduates during breakfast on Senior Sunday. Here is an excerpt.

Covenant has taught me that church does not have to be thought of in the conventional way, characterized by pews, hymns and sermons.

It can be lived out every single day through your actions and words. One of my favorite Bible verses, Matthew 18:20, says: "For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them."

So I urge everyone here to try and remember this verse and realize that keeping Covenant a part of your life does not have to be a daunting task. It can be a service project, small informal Bible study or even just connecting with someone in need of a friend.

During any of these actions, God is present, and therefore, your Covenant family is, too.
