Hearts full, spirits moved: Travelers return from Kenya
Kenya 2016 video
Kenya 2016 video
Near the end of Covenant's mission trip to Kenya, Carla Leaf pointed her cell phone and took a 12-second video of children riding a whirly-go-round.

For Carla, the blur of laughter and spinning became a highlight on a journey full of God sightings. Read about how the travelers encountered God at work in Kenya in June's Covenant News printed newsletter.

"It was the sound of pure joy," Carla said. "Most of the children had never ridden in a vehicle or eaten cotton candy, much less enjoyed an archaic fair ride. They just laughed and squealed for the most simple of things."

Welcome home: April Baldwin, Mary Parrish Coley, Lita & Lawson Gatlin, Nancy Green, Mary Kate McAlister, Judy Nebrig, Tricia Smith, Randy Ripple, Staff: Bob Henderson, Carla Leaf
