RPAC Fundraising


RPAC works hand-in-hand with the REALTORŪ Party to help elect REALTORŪ Champions who support and promote homeownership, property investment and a strong real estate industry.

 

2013 Highlights:

  • The 280-member Monroe County (MI) AOR used a $2500 grant to host an auction that helped them raise $8000 for RPAC in 2013--more than 33 percent above their assessed goal of $6000.
  • The 6000-member Greater Tampa AOR used a $2000 RPAC grant to host its first annual fundraising extravaganza--featuring a chili cook-off--that brought in over $14,000, pushing thier investments easilly over the assesed goal for the year.
  • The 480-member Midwestern Ohio AOR used a $2500 grant to turn a pig roast and auction into a successful RPAC fundraising event--raising nearly $7700--$2200 more than last year!

Contributions are not deductible for income tax purposes.  Contributions to RPAC are voluntary and are used for political purposes.  Corporate contributions and contributions from foreign nationals are prohibited.  You may contribute more or less than the suggested amount. You may refuse to contribute without reprisal.  70% of each contribution is used by your state PAC to support state and local political candidates.  Until your state PAC reaches its RPAC goal 30% is sent to National RPAC to support federal candidates and is charged against your limits under 2 U.S.C. 441a; after the state PAC reaches its RPAC goal it may elect to retain your entire contribution for use in supporting state and local candidates.
