In honor of REALTOR® Safety Month, Thane Jensen will be speaking at RAL's September Membership Luncheon about Personal Safety and Situational Awareness and their application to our lives as real estate professionals.
Jensen, a 1992 graduate of the Executive Protection Institute of Berryville, Virginia he has worked on anti-stalking & domestic executive protection assignments. He specializes in 1 to 3 person executive protection details and has provided personal security for Fortune 500 executives and their families.
The Bradley L. Cuda Memorial Child Safety Award will be presented to this year's recipient.

Fund Scholarship

RAL is committed to building the future of real estate through education and in 1972, established the Educational Trust Fund Scholarships to assist individuals interested in a career in real estate or a related field.
Qualifications: 
- Student must be of sophomore, junior, senior or graduate status.
- Must be a full-time student.
- Attending an accredited college, university or community college in Nebraska.
- Student must be interested in a career in real estate or a real estate related field.
- Applicant must complete the application in full and submit with required attachments to the REALTORS® Association of Lincoln office by October 15, 2013.

Huskers Helping the Homeless
|
RAL is again a proud sponsor of  "Huskers Helping the Homeless" benefitting Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach. At the Nebraska vs. Illinois game on October 5, volunteers will be collecting donations to help the homeless.
We are excited to be a "Husker"-level sponsor again this year and have the opportunity to help kick off the campaign. On Sunday, September 29, REALTORS will be able to display donation boxes at their open houses throughout Lincoln and the surrounding area.
If you are interested in displaying a box at any of your open houses that day, please check your office for a sign-up sheet or contact Deanna Kastrinos at the RAL office: Deanna@lincolnrealtors.com. The deadline for requesting donation boxes is Friday, September 20.
