During the last four years we have seen a steady increase in sales every year for Botanical Interests. During these past years of financial instability and increasing food prices at the grocery stores many Americans are doing their part, however small, in providing quality gardens for their families. The seed season started a month earlier than usual this year and is now rapidly coming to a grand finale for 2013 with sales for our states of Oregon and Washington being up 20% for 2013.
With June underway it's time to let the seeds sell down for the season and get ready to have them removed and replaced with 2014 seeds to accommodate our retailers are opting to carry Botanical Interests seeds year round to capture the cool season growing seasons and the holidays. Don't encourage your customers to go to the chain stores or big box stores to get their seeds for fall or for Christmas stockings and gift baskets. Carry packet seeds year round and keep your racks full and inviting and sales ongoing.
We will begin our our count-out schedule starting next week (June 10th) with the intent of having 2013 seeds out and 2014 seeds in by the end of July and will be putting together the call schedule/routes for 2013 removal 2014 sets up and would appreciate your response with the following information to make this transition as smooth as possible for all of us.
We appreciate your help in getting this information to the appropriate person. Please let us know if:
1. You would like to have 2013 seeds counted out and 2014 brought in as described above (recommended);
2. You want to have 2013 seeds counted out and removed with 2014 seeds brought into your store in early spring of 2014; or
3. You prefer to do your own 2013 count out and need the information and forms sent via email or fax.
For those accounts that are 50 miles or more off of I-5 or I-205 we will make sure we get the appropriate forms faxed and/or emailed to you as soon as they become available and will contact you regarding the process.
