Board of Trustees Meeting Summary
The Board of Trustees met in regular session on Thursday, November 19. The following link will provide you a summary of actions taken at their meeting.
 

Before you leave for Thanksgiving Break, is your voice mail and email updated?
As we prepare for Thanksgiving Break, please make sure all phone messages and out of office emails reflect current information concerning days off and returning dates for your campus or department.

Campus principals need to make sure that the main campus voice mail message reflects pertinent information for your campus.
BISD is accepting feedback on the proposed 2016-17 calendars through 1 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 3.


Thanksgiving 5K Grub Run


Team Birdville for Race for the Cure will participate in the Thanksgiving 5K Grub Run Nov. 26. The cost is $10, plus five cans of food to be donated to Tarrant Area Food Bank. Tarrant Area Food Bank is one of BISD's community partners and helps feed BISD students every day in the ASPIRE after-school programs.  During October, Tarrant Area Food Bank donated 10,468 meals.   • 20 percent of your purchase cost will be donated to BESSA's Scholarship Fund
  • There is no shipping charge (unless placing order online)
  • Tax is 6.25 percent
  • Checks should be made payable to: Flor Alegria - BESSA Fundraiser
  • The order will arrive within 2-3 weeks after fundraiser ends
  • At the latest, turn your money and order in by Dec. 4
  • Orders placed by Nov. 20 are guaranteed to be delivered by Dec. 18
