February 2015, notes from Dr. Darrell G. Brown
These are exciting times for our children. With today's technology, they have educational opportunities available like never before.

In January, six students who are deaf or partially deaf had the opportunity to participate in a unique educational opportunity that reached across the nation. This took place without ever leaving the campus of Smithfield Middle.

Help BESSA send a BISD Senior to College
The Birdville Educational Support Staff Association (BESSA) is providing you the opportunity to send someone in the district a Valentine Treat with a personal message attached from you. The cost for the treat is $1.00 and the treat will be delivered on Friday, February 13th.

BESSA will provide the treat and message heart. Simply fill out the form below, attach $1.00 and send to Patrice Morrison at Central Admin. Members of BESSA will put the treat bags together, and deliver them on February 13th  to the school/department office. Deadline for all orders is Monday, February 9th.

These will only be delivered inside the district and only to staff members. (No students!)

Please forward this to your staff and let them know about this fun way to send co-workers some Valentine love. (This is a great way to show staff your appreciation for all their hard work!) Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards our Scholarship Fund.
