Congratulations to Emily Arnold, Haltom High School journalism teacher, for being named a Nationally Certified Journalism Educator by the Journalism Education Association. She will be recognized in Washington, D.C. in November.

The Meadows Mental Health Policy Institute and Mental Health Connection of Tarrant County recently hosted a discussion regarding the regional mental health landscape. Donna Layer, director of counseling at Birdville ISD, was in attendance.
