| Ebola: What you need to know
|
BISD does not currently have any reports of students or staff who have been exposed to the Ebola virus. However, the District is in communication with the Tarrant county public health department on a frequent basis and is receiving regular updates. Symptoms of Ebola include fever, vomiting and diarrhea. BISD is concerned about everyday germs/viruses such as the flu and the common cold; therefore, the District will continue to be diligent in its cleaning. The best defense against the Ebola virus is to practice good hand washing, avoid travel to the infected areas, and contact your health care provider if you think you have been exposed. |
