The Communications Department publishes the employee newsletter "e-nlightened" each week so staff can keep in touch with what is going on across the district. Email your pictures and a brief description to Communications and we will include them as space permits.




During the 2013-14 school year, BISD's Cosmetology and Construction Technology students partnered to compete in the SkillsUSA American Spirit contest. The students won first place at district and state, qualifying them to compete at nationals in Kansas City, MO. At nationals, the students won third place in the SkillsUSA American Spirit contest. Congratulations to team members: Hanna Roberts, Haltom High School; and Crew Barrow and Taylor Rosenau, Richland High School.
