   Birdville ISD earns highest rating under new state accountability standards
Today, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) announced the 2014 district and school accountability ratings under the State of Texas Assessment of Academic Readiness (STAAR) tests. Birdville ISD and all 31 district campuses earned a rating of Met Standard, the highest rating available in this second year of the newly revised state accountability system.

 
   Important Benefits Information
Birdville added a Health Savings Account (HSA) benefit effective 9/1/14.  A comparison of the HSA vs. Flexible Spending Account (FSA) was included in the Open Enrollment information mailed to all employees in July. It's time for our annual Safe Schools safety training!
 
Employees need to have access to a district or personal computer in order to complete these required safety training courses. If you have questions, contact Candace Miller at 817-547-5855 or [email protected].
 
 Note the following deadlines for course completion are:
Current employees - complete safety courses by Oct. 4.
New employees - six weeks after date of hire.
