BISD will delay the start of school by two hours Friday, Feb. 7. Buses will run two hours later than normal. (For example: elementary will start at 10:10 a.m., middle school will start at 10:40 a.m. and high school will start at 9:30 a.m.) There will be no morning prekindergarten classes. Afternoon prekindergarten classes will meet at their regular time. Students who attend the Birdville Center of Technology and Advanced Learning should report to their home campus. BISD will evaluate the road conditions again early Friday morning, and if needed, close school or stay with the two hour delay. Updates will be posted on the district website and social media sites.
