Birdville ISD: A Heroic Journey
Birdville ISD - Honoring The Past

BISD staff are asked to add signatures with contact information to all email messages

In an effort to help others know who we are, where we work, and what we do, the Communications Department is asking all employees to add a signature line to all their emails. For example:

Mark Thomas
Communications Officer
Birdville ISD
817-547-5799 (Office)
Website: www.birdvilleschools.net
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/birdvilleschools
Twitter: https://twitter.com/birdvilleschool

The format should be:

  • Name
  • Title (Second-grade Teacher; Custodial Supervisor, History Teacher, Principal, etc.)
  • Where you teach/work (Hardeman Elementary, Transportation, Building & Grounds, Richland High School, etc.)
  • Birdville ISD
  • Phone number
  • Email

Signature lines are a feature available in Outlook. To learn how to add a signature, select the appropriate version of Outlook below.
Outlook 2007
Outlook 2010
Outlook 2013

This is another way for us to provide good customer service to fellow staff members, parents and the community.

2013-2014 TExES Preparation Courses

Want to become ESL certified? Birdville ISD will pay the registration and certification fee for teachers who attend a required two-day ESL TExES workshop. As a result of attending this workshop, participants will become better prepared for the ESL certification test.
Birdville ISD's middle school science teachers recently participated in the MS Inquiry Institute taught by the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Teachers explored three types of inquiry from a student's perspective. In each scenario, participants were asked to build tops that would spin for a large period of time.
