Birdville ISD's Trustees
Study Bond Proposal

  

In September 2012, Birdville ISD's Board of Trustees and administration formed a diverse citizens' bond committee of more than 50 parents and community leaders to study current and future facility needs for the district. With 12 of our campuses being built prior to 1960, and another five between 1960 and 1969, the Committee faced challenges in determining the best direction for the district to take. Student and staff safety, student achievement, efficiency of current facilities, and equity across the district were of major importance, yet there was a need of maintaining a reasonable tax rate and finding ways to save money districtwide.

Curriculum Feedback Form

The Curriculum and Instruction team wants your specific feedback about the curriculum for any course offered in BISD. The new Curriculum Feedback Form will allow for an open exchange, as each question or comment will receive a prompt response from C&I and will be posted so that all BISD staff can stay informed. All feedback will be provided to curriculum writing teams as they work on revisions during the summer. If you submit feedback, all identifying information will be removed before it is posted.
