Community Service Opportunity for older girls

There is a need in the community for a person or organization to make teeny tears bereavement diapers ( for the families who have suffered the loss of an infant. There are four hospitals in our jurisdiction who currently participate: Ochsner and Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, and St. Tammany Hospital and Lakeview on the Northshore. Touro needs 75 sets and Lakeside needs 40 as of now. A set is a matching pair tied together with ribbon. This request was shared with us by one of our Girl Scout alumna who is a family nurse practitioner in Austin and makes these in her free time to supply a hospital there as well as try to address some of the need here until others pick up the project locally.
