Community Service Opportunity for older girls

There is a need in the community for a person or organization to make teeny tears bereavement diapers (www.teenytears.blogspot.com) for the families who have suffered the loss of an infant. There are four hospitals in our jurisdiction who currently participate: Ochsner and Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, and St. Tammany Hospital and Lakeview on the Northshore. Touro needs 75 sets and Lakeside needs 40 as of now. A set is a matching pair tied together with ribbon. This request was shared with us by one of our Girl Scout alumna who is a family nurse practitioner in Austin and makes these in her free time to supply a hospital there as well as try to address some of the need here until others pick up the project locally.
