Resident camp is about to begin, but there are still some openings, so register today! Campers at resident camp participate in fun activities that vary based on session selection, and may include canoeing, kayaking, swimming, horseback riding, building a raft, building a fire, Geocaching, cooking in a box, investigating a mystery, taking pictures or taking a moonlit scavenger hunt. | Thin Mint Sprint is this Sunday, June 2! |
It's not too late to register for the Thin Mint Sprint 5K and 1 mile Daisy Dash fun run being held on Sunday, June 2 in New Orleans City Park. This non-competitive, family-friendly run is for runners and walkers of all ages. Click here for registration times, fees, form, and schedule. Registration is also being held the day of the run.  | Join us for a Lego Robotics Workshop! |
Robots are totally cool, right? Girls, ages 9-14, are invited to spend a day building and programming a robot to complete its mission! Women engineers from the Society of Women Engineers will assist in teaching you about the Lego Mindstorms robot, the same robot being used by Girl Scouts in our FIRST LEGOŽ League teams this fall. This workshop is totally hands-on, so YOU will be doing the building and programming! If you're interested in finding out what FIRST LEGOŽ League is all about or just want to do some cool stuff with robots, please join us at one of the two workshops:
