Dear members and friends:
I hope all of you have had the opportunity to get outside and enjoy some of this beautiful spring weather!! One of the reasons I love spring so much is because of the many outside activities and events we can now enjoy. Also a very welcome sign to spring was the much anticipated GBCA 2015 Hospitality Trade Show held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at the Black Falcon Cruise Terminal. Our Affiliate Representative; Kirstin Beal, Director of Sales and Concierge Liaison of Blue Man Group exceeded all of our expectations with the most remarkable trade show ever. This highly anticipated event hosted more than 160 exhibitors and attracted more than 300 hospitality professionals.
Krissy and her hard working volunteers, worked tirelessly from set up to break down and everything in between to transform the humongous space into the incredible room you saw when you arrived. Evan Martin our Vice President of Public Relations was on hand to play master of ceremonies as well as DJ extraordinaire for the night. All through the evening, I was approached by exhibitors, members and guests excited to share all their positive feedback for an incredible event.
Thank you again to Kirstin and her hard-working team for making the evening such an incredible success. This event would never have happened without your support.
Our members were extremely busy this month with so many activities and events. A special thank you to our good friend and Honorary GBCA member Robert Morrissette for arranging a special concierge dinner at Gennaro's 5 North Square. Members of the concierge community were able to dine family style and enjoy the delicious food prepared by well-known and respected Chef Marisa Iocco. What a treat it was when owner Linda Riccio dropped in to say hello. Be sure to send your thank you e-mails to our hosts for a wonderful night. marisalocco@icloud.com, lindariccio@hotmail.com .
I would also like to thank all the concierge members who enjoyed the hospitality of the Colonial Dames at the William Prescott House reception and tour on April 28, 2015. Please send all your praise for a lovely occasion to Melissa at missilou51@comcast.net .

Don Giovanni is a man obsessed. Women rule his life; he desires them, he seduces them, he runs from them. In Mozart's most celebrated drama, women lead Giovanni from the bedroom to the gates of hell. In this new BLO production, Jennifer Johnson Cano sings the role of Donna Elvira, the woman scorned who pursues Giovanni to the ends of the earth, with new sensation Duncan Rock in the title role. Vivid and transfixing, Mozart's work is filled with exquisite music, intense drama, and comedic insights.
