The Inn at Hastings Park is a boutique inn located in Lexington, Massachusetts, just 15 miles from Boston. Footsteps away from the Lexington Battle Green, a revered site where America's fight for liberty began, The Inn's two guest houses and barn are lovingly preserved historical buildings. The décor for each guestroom is unique, yet all come together with a shared design theme that presents a contemporary twist on the traditional with bright colors, bold patterns, and beautiful design elements built by regional craftsmen. At our restaurant, Artistry on the Green, our menus showcase New England favorites with an inspired twist.
We are offering an industry rate of $225 per night (plus taxes) for January and February. Guests using the industry rate are asked to bring a business card with them when they check in. Reservations can be booked by calling us at 781-301-6660 or emailing rooms@innathastingspark.com.

Dear members and friends,
2014 has been an outstanding year!
We ended the season with the November 17, 2014 election meeting taking place at the new Innovation Center "District Hall". The location was in the beautiful revitalized Seaport District. District Hall has so much to offer, a place where folks can come, relax, work or just enjoy great food and beverages. Special thank you to all the folks at Gather and Brew that provided the delightful reception and yummy desserts for our members. I hope everyone will think of these special businesses when recommending food and services to our guests. We also had the largest number of members attend a meeting as yet. Over 80 members were on hand to meet, mingle and share ideas.
The election committee, headed by Guy Neil and Mark Miller again demonstrated their smoothness and expertise to make the night a truly successful one.
Congratulations to our newest GBCA board members, Kirstin Beal of Blue Man Group and Debra Hegger, Concierge at the Westin Waterfront Hotel. We are grateful to have both of these amazing ladies on our team!
Our new board will be meeting shortly to transition and plan our strategy for 2015. The next time we will all be together is at our 2015 Anniversary Gala at the Skywalk at the Prudential Center. This will be an extraordinary occasion with delicious food and beverages, a fun entertaining band and the most breathtaking view of the city. Be sure to RSVP in a timely manner because space is limited for this incredible event.
Thank you again to all of our members who have supported us this year. You have made the GBCA what it is today -- an association of hardworking, dedicated hospitality authorities who work together for the betterment of our profession.
Warm regards and Happy Holidays to all. I look forward to seeing you in the new Year.
With Pride In service;
Betty Salemme
GBCA president

JFK Presidential Library and Museum Announcement
The main exhibit galleries at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum will be temporarily closed for technology and design upgrades from December 31, 2014 through mid-March 2015. The project will include overhauling and adding to the existing museum technology infrastructure, creating an interactive, dynamic experience for visitors to learn about John F. Kennedy, his era, and his administration.
The Library's special exhibit To the Brink: JFK and the Cuban Missile Crisis, Research Room, JFK Café, and Museum Store will remain open to the public during this time. No admission fee will be charged to visit the Library or view the special exhibit. Public and private events, including Kennedy Library Forums and children's Celebrate! programs, will still be hosted as scheduled.
Please check our website for opening updates. And please call with any questions 617-514-1600. The building will still be open from 9 am - 5 pm daily.
