Responsibilities will include graciously greeting residents and guests and addressing any questions or concerns in a courteous and timely manner and providing assistance to the property management team.

  There would be 2 Sunday shifts (morning 9 to 3 and afternoons 3 to 10) then Tuesday (5 to 11) Wed (5 to 10) and Thursday (5 to 10). They would probably be looking to hire 2 people to cover these shifts as they also are looking for people that may be able to be on-call if at all possible.

President's Letter 



Dear Members and Friends:

   November is a special time for our GBCA community.  

  Our election for the 2015 board of directors is fast approaching!

  I hope all of you had the opportunity to enjoy the hospitality of The Kinsale Irish Pub & Restaurant on October 6, 2014. What an amazing evening it was with delicious food, refreshing beverages including a fabulous array of craft beers; as well as the warm and cozy ambiance. Also the most accommodating team of staff members I have ever met including, General Manager Derek Schneider, Assistant General Manager Dave Newman and the lovely Marcia Dailey Corporate Office Manager and Kinsale Function Director who helped pull it all together. What a huge success it was! Be sure to recommend The Kinsale with its eclectic menu, seasonal outside dinning, entertainment and great function space to all of your visitors and guests.

   At our meeting, you had the opportunity to hear from this year's board of directors and the members of our election committee. We have also sent many e-mail messages regarding our election process and how you might consider "tossing your hat into the ring". Please consider being part of the board of directors and supporting the GBCA.

  If you have any questions, any of our board of directors would be happy to share with you what goes into this fine organization.

  As we enter into our 25th year, I am proud to work with so many wonderful folks over these many years and I look forward to continuing to support the growth of the GBCA.

  We have much to be proud of...I'm sure you will hear more about that at our upcoming election meeting.

The main exhibit galleries at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum will be temporarily closed for technology and design upgrades from January 2, 2015 through mid-March 2015. The project will include overhauling and adding to the existing museum technology infrastructure, creating an interactive, dynamic experience for visitors to learn about John F. Kennedy, his era, and his administration.



The Library's special exhibit To the Brink: JFK and the Cuban Missile Crisis, Research Room, JFK Café, and Museum Store will remain open to the public during this time.  No admission fee will be charged to visit the Library or view the special exhibit. Public and private events, including Kennedy Library Forums and children's Celebrate! programs, will still be hosted as scheduled.

 South End Stroll 



A big thank you to Betty Salemme for helping to get the word out for this year's South End Business Alliance Concierge Stroll- we had a wonderful turn out!
I hope you all had a great time, I know I did! Each stop had so much to offer, I was thrilled to see that everyone put in so much effort and it showed! 
We plan to see this event grow again next year! Keep spreading the word- we still have so much more to show you in the South End.
There should be some photos up on our facebook page soon, if you took any photos please share them with me. 
I would love to hear any feedback you have to make this even better in the future.
As I mentioned in my shop I have some drawings going on view at a group show in December- the invitation is attached. Please attend if you are interested in supporting 50 talented local artists. 
To those of you I got speak with personally it was so nice to meet you, I hope to have more conversations with everyone at some point in time!
