WHAT A BEAUTIFUL FALL
 
I hope you have been lucky enough to be in Steamboat over the past few weeks.  In the 30+ years I've been living in the Rocky Mountains, this has been one of the most beautiful Indian Summers I've experienced!  Even today (as pretty much the past +/- 20 days), the temp is in the low 70's with bluebird skies.

This past weekend Mary and I drove to Glenwood Springs for our daughter's high school volleyball match, and was able to take this picture of the Flat Top Mountains.  As you can see, it was a gorgeous drive...


  ...and yes, there was still some snow from last year. 
Is the Market Back to 2007?
We've not yet returned to 2007, but I must say that when I was preparing my quarterly report to present to the Steamboat Sotheby's agents and staff earlier this week, I was very surprised to find that the third quarter of 2015, which the MLS just completed, saw 318 transactions...the exact same as in the 4th quarter of 2007!
 
I never would have thought we would be thinking 2007 numbers again.  Next month's email will have a full report.
