The Amens of Jesus: Like a Little Child

Why did Jesus have to die? That's a difficult question, but it is also perhaps the most important question in the world.  It's the question that lies at the heart of everything that Christianity is about.   It's the question that will be at the forefront of this week's installment of The Amens of Jesus. Join us this Sunday at 9:00 or 11:00 as Pastor Anthony unpacks this vital topic in the talk, "Like a Little Child."

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday is only two weeks away, and this is a big day for your church.  To celebrate, we will be having two Easter egg hunts, one after each service at 10:15 AM and 12:15 PM.  Would you consider inviting someone to attend a service with you on that day?  If so, don't invite them yet, but continue to pray for them during this next week and consider finding a way to serve this person or family.  Maybe offer to help finish a work or home project.  If they're elderly, consider bringing them a meal or running an errand for them.  If they're a family with kids, maybe offer to babysit so they can have a date night.  By the way, we have three criteria for inviting people to come to church with you: 1) you should know them and have a relationship with them, 2) they need to live close enough to the church that it's easy enough for them to get here, and 3) they shouldn't already have a church.  We look forward to celebrating Easter with you!

If you have kids participating in the Easter Egg Hunt, we could use your help with a candy donation. Please place your contribution in the designated bin located in the ch
urch lobby.
The Hang Out March 22nd

The Hangout is happening this Sunday, March 22nd at Maddie and Hayden's home. Parents, bring your kids to the GO youth service at the church at 4pm.  Youth leaders will transport the kids to the Hangout, and the kids can be picked up at the Maroney's home between 8-8:30pm.  This is going to be a lot of fun for the students, so make plans to get them there.

Spring Landscape Day- March 28

Spring is here and with spring comes the growth of new flowers...and weeds.   That means it's time for our Spring Landscaping Day on Saturday, March 28th from 9am - Noon. We will plant new flowers, pull weeds, and do some special prep for Easter Sunday.  We'll provide food and beverages at noon.  If you can't be there for the entirety of this landscaping event, then come and help for as long as you can.

Plug In March 31st

If you're ready to move from "I like this church" to "I love my church", then Plug In is for you. You'll hear a little bit about where we come from, a lot about where we are going and how you can be a part of that journey. Becoming a member at Southwest Family Fellowship is a great step on a journey of spiritual growth, and it will help you connect further into the life of the church.  If you consider SWFF your church home and have not yet attended, please make plans to join us for Plug In Tuesday evening, March 31st at 6:30pm. Childcare will be provided. Click here to register.
