Ms. McCarthy was just one of several amazing speakers from our NID Conference last month. Speakers and participants addressed topics ranging from Kennedy Administration foreign policy (Jim DiEugenio) and history (Brent Holland's interview with Ted Sorenson) to studies of the evidence relating to the President's murder. Speakers including Josiah Thompson, Sherry Fiester, Don Thomas, David Mantik, Pat Speer and Russell Kent all offered analysis of the shooting and of the President's wounds. Perhaps the most dramatic observations were those provided by autopsy participant Jim Jenkins, who flew into Dallas in support of William Law's autopsy presentation. He provided firsthand observations in regard to the President's appearance during the Bethesda autopsy.
Several speakers also addressed issues of evidence including Rollie Zavada's analysis of the Zapruder film, Pamela Brown's study of the Presidential limo, and Rex Bradford's description of an acknowledged 14-minute tape erasure of President Johnson's discussions with J. Edgar Hoover following the assassination.
A number of speakers including Joe Backes, Jim DiEugenio, and Brian Edwards offered reviews and critiques of the various government inquiries which have addressed the assassination. As with previous conferences, new research was presented. Bill Simpich brought to light extensive new background in regard to the spy games going on around Lee Oswald in Mexico City. Joan Mellen offered an address on the nature of critical evidence evaluation, especially in regard to the involvement of Malcolm Wallace as an agent of Lyndon Johnson in the attack on the President. Scott Kaiser discussed his new oral interviews relating to a number of Cuban exiles and their connections to purported Kennedy conspiracy figures. Several presenters including Ian Griggs, Jim Marrs, Russ Baker, Barry Ernest, Dick Russell, Ed Tatro and Mark Shaw reviewed their research on the murder and shared their personal experiences of decades of research.
DVDs of all the speakers' 2013 presentations will be available very soon. Please take just a moment to fill out our interest form, and we will help you put together a collection that best suits your needs.

Contrary to its contemporary image, deniable covert operations are not something new. Such activities have been ordered by every president and every administration since the Second World War. In many instances covert operations have relied on surrogates, with American personnel involved only at a distance, insulated by layers of deniability.
Shadow Warfare traces the evolution of these covert operations, detailing the tactics and tools used from the Truman era through those of the contemporary Obama Administrations. It also explores the personalities and careers of many of the most noted shadow warriors of the past sixty years, tracing the decade-long relationship between the CIA and the military.
Shadow Warfare presents a balanced, non-polemic exploration of American secret warfare, detailing its patterns, consequences and collateral damage and presenting its successes as well as failures.Shadow Wars explores why every president from Franklin Roosevelt on, felt compelled to turn to secret, deniable military action. It also delves into the political dynamic of the president's relationship with Congress and the fact that despite decades of combat, the U.S. Congress has chosen not to exercise its responsibility to declare a single state of war - even for extended and highly visible combat.
