Peter Janney - The Mary Meyer Murder

Peter Janney is the author of "Mary's Mosaic", a book generating unprecedented interest and a multitude of compliments. Mary Pinchot Meyer, a Washington socialite was murdered while walking near the Potomac River on October 12, 1964. The person originally accused of her murder was acquitted, leaving the case unsolved. Publicly, there was concern the murder was unsolved. Privately, there was a secret no one was talking about, Mary Meyer had been having an affair with President John F. Kennedy.

Doug Horne states, "Perhaps the most chilling aspect of this mesmerizing book is the detailed and convincing manner in which it reveals the suffocating power of the official JFK assassination cover-up imposed by the U.S. government immediately after his death - the power to manipulate the media and to steal documents; the willingness to manipulate the judicial system by aggressively attempting to frame an innocent man for a crime he did not commit; and even the willingness to commit murder to silence one brave and respected citizen who was about to publicly oppose the sham conclusions of the Warren Report."

Jim Marrs writes, "
The little-known murder of Mary Pinchot Meyer in October, 1964, may well be the connecting tissue binding together some of the central characters near the top of the conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy."

About the Author
Peter Janney grew up in Washington, D.C. during the Cold War era of the 1950s and 1960s. His father Wistar Janney was a senior career CIA official. The Janney family was intimately involved with many of Washington's social and political elite that included the family of Mary and Cord Meyer, as well as other high-ranking CIA officials such as Richard Helms, Jim Angleton, Tracy Barnes, Desmond FitzGerald, and William Colby.

A graduate of Princeton, Janney has a doctoral degree in psychology at Boston University in 1981. He has been a practicing psychologist and consultant for over 30 years. In 2002, he completed an MBA degree at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

Mary's Mosaic is his first book.

Sherry Fiester - Enemy of the Truth

President John F. Kennedys assassination is the most studied murder investigation of the21st century, yet it remains plagued by questions and a variety of unproven theories. Regardless of how tenacious and believable an enduring claim may be, if lacking historical or scientific sustenance, it is a myth. While these intriguing, but unverifiable suppositions gather attention, they detract from the quality of information essential to explain this mysterious homicide.

John F. Kennedy said, "The great enemy of truth is very often not the lie - deliberate, contrived and dishonest - but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic."

Filtering long held beliefs in the Kennedy assassination through contemporary, reliable, established scientific facts will help to dispel myths; the very thing Kennedy described as the great enemy of truth. Enemy of the Truth utilizes various forensic disciplines to dispel assassination mythologies.

Barry Ernest, author of "The Girl on the Stairs" writes, "It is an unfortunate fact that persuasive myths abound when one studies the JFK assassination. The subject seems saturated with disinformation and literary garbage. My kudos go to Sherry, who takes the right approach here. She skillfully attacks and puts to rest some of the more

blatant myths not with biased counter opinion, but with forensic truths. I'm a strong proponent of this method to solving the puzzle and so I greatly admire this book. It is a must read for those seeking facts instead of fallacy."

Lamar Waldron writes, "Sherry Fiester's excellent new book is sensible, well informed, and methodical-things that are often all too rare in books about the assassination of President Kennedy. Drawing on her extensive forensic and law enforcement background, her careful analysis uses the most recent studies and evidence to debunk important myths that still surround JFK's shooting. Even when covering technical or complex issues, her book is easy to follow while still conveying important information. I highly recommend it."

Enemy of the Truth: Myths, Forensics and the Kennedy Assassination

New book by Sherry Fiester, Enemy of the Truth utilizes various forensic disciplines to dispel assassination mythologies, including simultaneous headshots, where the shooter for the fatal head shot was located, if the limousine stopped and more. No matter how credible unsubstantiated claims may appear at first glance, unless proven correct, they are still myths, and myths will never be facts.
